Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are properly secured and accounted for.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation and logbooks accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current DOT medical card and a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
