Responsibilities
- Pick up and Deliver: Efficiently pick up packages from our distribution centers and deliver them to residential and commercial customers within the Los Angeles area.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, ensuring a friendly and positive unboxing experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all delivery logs, receipts, and digital paperwork required by company policy.
- Safe Driving: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Problem Solving: Handle delivery exceptions (such as wrong addresses or missed deliveries) professionally and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- License: Valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions in the last 3 years).
- Experience: Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in the logistics industry is preferred but not required for enthusiastic applicants.
- Technology: Proficiency with smartphone applications and GPS navigation systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and walk short distances.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as demand requires.
