Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in a professional and efficient manner.
- Load and unload merchandise accurately, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Deliver packages and goods to customers in Memphis and surrounding areas on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and digital records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for local travel to terminals.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries.
