Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and freight to designated residential and commercial locations in the Milwaukee area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure accident-free driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling package handling and signatures as required.
- Update delivery status and log delivery information accurately into the company’s mobile app or handheld device.
- Unload packages efficiently and place them in the appropriate delivery zones.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate efficiently in urban environments.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and handheld delivery management apps.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor when representing the company.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays as business demands.
