Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Delivery: Transport packages and goods to designated addresses in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and handling deliveries with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Route Management: Follow GPS directions and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficiency.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and delivery reports.
- Baggage Handling: Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatch.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using smartphone apps for navigation and order tracking.
