Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses within a designated route.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to a strict "greet and smile" protocol and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately to maintain fleet safety standards.
- Verify delivery accuracy and secure packages using appropriate safety techniques to prevent damage or loss.
- Update delivery status in the digital tracking system in real-time for complete transparency.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the SwiftRoute brand.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong sense of direction and problem-solving skills for route optimization.
- Must possess a smartphone capable of accessing our delivery management apps.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
