Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages and freight from delivery vehicles using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated routes and addresses.
- Interact professionally with customers, including residential and commercial clients.
- Verify delivery information, obtain signatures, and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Accurately complete daily logs and delivery reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B with Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required for entry-level).
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS and navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
