Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Deliveries: Navigate efficiently through Los Angeles traffic to ensure packages are delivered to customers on schedule.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance and report any issues immediately.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, handle packages with care, and maintain a positive brand image during every drop-off.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS and route-planning tools to optimize delivery sequences and minimize fuel consumption.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, mileage logs, and other required paperwork in compliance with company policy.
- Load Handling: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring the vehicle is balanced and secure for transport.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C or Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Clean Driving Record: Must possess a clean DMV record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with dispatch and customers.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to a consistent work schedule.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld scanners and mobile navigation apps.
