Responsibilities
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely, ensuring all packages are accounted for.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery truck at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delivery delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and inventory (if applicable).
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable personal transportation to the company depot.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
