Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses across Washington, DC.
- Verify delivery contents against delivery tickets and obtain signatures as required.
- Inspect vehicle daily to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance.
- Practice excellent time management to adhere to strict delivery schedules.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Load and unload parcels carefully to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
- Must be tech-savvy with a smartphone for GPS navigation and digital paperwork.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
