Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across the Midwest corridor
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS rules
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be available for overnight trips (1-2 nights/week)
