Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-state deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Handle time-sensitive cargo with temperature control requirements
- Adhere to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for precise routing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DC/MD/VA metro routes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts
