Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Texas
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on assigned equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- hazmat endorsement preferred
