Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Document logs, manifests, and delivery reports accurately
- Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols and HAZMAT handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Boston metro area and New England highways
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- HAZMAT certification preferred
