Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation
- Inspect and maintain vehicle condition pre/post-trip
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team for route updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and delivery zones
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
