Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional routes within Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage timely delivery of freight while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient load planning and scheduling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be 23 years of age or older
