Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on time
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while navigating Boston's urban and highway systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document delivery status and handle paperwork accurately
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route adjustments and updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Boston metro area and New England highways
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
