Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers and straight trucks.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo with attention to safety and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (Must be current).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
