Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional and long-haul deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and secure cargo according to industry standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
- Represent Pacific Northwest Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Washington State and Pacific Northwest roadways
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
