Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefers, flatbeds) across Florida and Southeast routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load planning and delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Deliver freight to distribution centers, retail locations, and job sites
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade County road networks and port operations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
- Strong time management and communication skills
