Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
