Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for freight transport across Southern California
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with precision and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while prioritizing road safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and DOT regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts as needed
