Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining optimal fuel efficiency
- Complete required paperwork including delivery confirmations and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with tanker, flatbed, or refrigerated trailers preferred
- Knowledge of San Antonio metro area and Texas highway systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
