Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on time and in full.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and all required documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling of goods.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and regional driving regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) must be valid.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
