Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route optimization
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Handle time-sensitive deliveries with 99% on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of NYC metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Forklift certification and hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
