Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across Los Angeles County
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and real-time updates
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless freight handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat/Tank preferred)
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
