Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic laws
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area routes and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
