Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods on regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) endorsements preferred but not required
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure fleet reliability
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and weather conditions
- HAZMAT certification preferred (will assist with obtaining)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable transportation to/from terminal location
