Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery stop.
- Manage inventory and ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- U.S. work authorization and documentation.
