Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are secured and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently to meet strict deadlines and customer expectations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues on the spot.
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment within the vehicle and depot.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal work authorization (US work visa sponsorship not available).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of California roadways, traffic patterns, and navigation systems.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
