Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in urban and highway environments.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for all shipments.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries professionally and resolving delivery issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic and CDL regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or DUIs on record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting packages and operating heavy machinery.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
