Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and appropriate equipment to ensure cargo integrity.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork for compliance.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently, adhering to delivery schedules and time windows.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer service.
