Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of duty status (DOT 30/70/11 hour rules).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Class A or B).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
