Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on designated routes throughout Los Angeles and the broader California region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo is secure and protected.
- Maintain accurate records via Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and adhere to all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Uphold a high standard of cleanliness for the vehicle and professional conduct at all times.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (Medical Card required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with LA traffic patterns and regional logistics is a plus.
