Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles for long-haul and local deliveries across Southern California
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo safely and document any discrepancies
- Perform minor preventive maintenance checks on assigned vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight shifts and weekend availability
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
