Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) for local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision and proper equipment handling
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highways and urban navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
