Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Illinois and neighboring states
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving techniques at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Represent SwiftDrive Logistics with professionalism in customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) issued by the State of Illinois
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and safety regulations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
