Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, reefer, flatbed) across designated routes
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Document trip logs, delivery paperwork, and incident reports
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch team
- Ensure secure cargo handling and on-time deliveries
- Operate in diverse weather conditions including desert heat
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Phoenix metro area and Southwest routes
- HAZMAT certification (preferred, not required)
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight trips
