Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential/commercial addresses within Columbus metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer communication records
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation software to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area roads and neighborhoods
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving license a plus
- Proven reliability and punctuality in previous roles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
