Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post-trip safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of materials transported
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members for efficient loading/unloading
- Operate specialized equipment like belly dumps and end-dumps as needed
- Maintain clean and compliant vehicles through regular maintenance reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong understanding of Virginia roadways and construction site logistics
- Physical capability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills
