Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and waste to designated sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, pre-trip checks, and basic maintenance troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for regulatory compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatchers for efficient route planning
- Load/unload materials safely using proper equipment techniques
- Respond professionally to client needs and maintain positive working relationships
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, specifically with dump trucks
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in reading maps, GPS navigation, and route planning
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and securement procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in construction or waste management preferred
