Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Load, unload, and verify shipment contents to ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and customer communication records
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and navigation skills using GPS technology
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
