Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or goods to customers within designated Florida territories
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and address route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or commercial driving preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for communication and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
