Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport packages to customers throughout Oakland
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes for efficiency
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and neighborhoods
