Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential/commercial addresses within designated time windows
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize delivery efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to manage delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs/doorways
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
