Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries across San Jose using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using real-time traffic data
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of San Jose neighborhoods preferred
