Responsibilities
- Safely deliver food, packages, and retail items to customers throughout Washington DC
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate delivery status via app to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide outstanding customer service during all interactions
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and navigation
- Knowledge of Washington DC neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
