Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and time-sensitive materials throughout El Paso County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of assigned vehicle
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to coordinate delivery schedules and address issues
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical examination
- Strong knowledge of El Paso street grid and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be available for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
