Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, or goods to customers within designated timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital records through our mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Optimize routes for efficiency using GPS navigation systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Assist with warehouse duties when required (loading/unloading)
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
