Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food, and goods across Chicago neighborhoods
- Utilize GPS navigation to optimize delivery routes and maintain strict time schedules
- Provide professional customer interactions during drop-offs and address delivery concerns
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Document delivery status and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route challenges in real-time
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Chicago's geography and traffic patterns
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and navigation tools
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
